Who am I?

Hey hey, for now let’s call me Cherlock Code 👋. By day, I’m a Frontend Software Engineer working for a global telecommunications company. I’ve been working in the tech industry for almost 10 years and spent my early days as a web content editor, followed by web designer and finally now a web developer.

I’m starting this blog because quite frankly since becoming a full-time developer just over 2 years ago I have felt lost in a massive sea of content! 🌊

I’m using this as a platform that welcomes all new developers into this vast world of the web and hopefully together we can navigate our way through it 🔎.

I’ve learnt many things along my journey that I’ll be sharing, as trust me I know how scary it can be to find your feet as a new or wannabe developer 😵‍💫. There’s so many questions you may have such as:

• What language should I learn first?

• How can I get my first dev job?

• Where do I start learning?

• What the heck is Web3 and why is everyone talking about it? 🤔

I had these questions too, plus many more, there will always be new technologies and techniques to explore, new challenges to tackle, and new ways to improve your skills.

So that’s what I’m here for, by embracing a mindset of continuous learning and growth, you can ensure that you're always at the top of your game and able to meet the ever-evolving demands of the tech industry.

Oh, and I’m a big fan of productivity and finding ways to improve our learning journey through being more productive, so I’ll be sharing tips on that too 📈.
